Prompts for Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot that interview you and then write solution design content in Markdown. They document just enough. Diagrams are in Mermaid, and every diagram comes with a table describing its elements.
How it works
- Run "Start here: kickoff and discovery" first. Copilot interviews you and produces a Design Context Brief: the shared project memory.
- Save the brief by pasting it into Project memory below. It's stored in this browser only.
- Run "As-is architecture" next to agree the starting position. Then copy any section prompt. With "Add brief to copied prompts" ticked, the brief is attached automatically, so Copilot already knows the project and only asks about gaps.
- Every prompt ends by listing RAIDC changes and returning an updated brief. Paste the brief back into Project memory so the next prompt knows what the last one learned. The brief holds the shared requirements and RAIDC log.
GitHub Copilot: keep the brief in your repo at docs/solution-design/design-context.md. In agent mode the prompts read and update that file themselves, so you can untick the option below.
M365 Copilot: either leave the option ticked, or keep the brief in a Word / Loop file and attach it with / when you paste the prompt.
